What drew me to Songaia, what I believe draws everyone who comes to this place on some level, is the beauty, mystery and magic of this land. The veil between the two worlds is opening and the future will be how we consciously collaborate with this rediscovered realm.
This land that the Songaians have chosen to build community is ancient beyond belief and filled with such wonderful, benevolent, beautiful subtle energies, working/playing all around us in an unseen realm. An ancient healing power long time forgotten, but felt instinctually, dwells here.
As we have continued to move forward and experienced the inevitable changes as we grow, the subtle energies of this land have inspired, influenced us. But just think what it could be like if we consciously worked with these beings. Perhaps we could fully experience the healing qualities of the land and see it for the first time with a perspective newly awakened by the magic and mystery that is all around us.
The community would be transformed subtly yet immensely. Small retreats pop up all around the grounds. Places shrouded and hidden but inviting us to sit and connect with nature, with ourselves, with others. Whimsical, playful, moving art creations will pop up along the path and they will stir our heart felt emotions. High innovation will also present itself in finding ways to utilize what the land offers us.
As it is now, I see this new perspective being born. It started first with the garden and then with the desire to unite the four groups within a larger entity and thinking outside the box for ways to live lightly on the earth. What these things have started, to me, is beautiful and I feel that they will all lead us to something even grander.
